Introduces content, but the writing is poor. The author could speak more simply. He explains a concept in in more words than necessary. This is an intro book where the author is not speaking plainly. It is a required text that I wold not choose if I were teaching.
Curious all pictures are black and white that look like they should be in color. Almost looks photocopied. Material is ok.
